We’re excited to announce that we’re hiring a Sales + Business Operations for 2025. Our agency is based remotely, but would love to work in a hybrid capacity with students in the State College area.

Job Description

The Sales + Business Operations Intern will support Hello Social Co. in improving sales processes, identifying leads, tracking profitability, and contributing to revenue growth. This intern will play a hands-on role in business development and will engage directly with prospective clients through professional consultations and calls.

This position is ideal for a student or early-career professional who is curious about what makes a small, service-based business sustainable—and is eager to gain real-world sales and business strategy experience.

Role Responsibilities

  • Research and identify aligned sales leads across the tourism, destination, and experience industries, and assist in nurturing them through the pipeline
  • Conduct professional sales calls and consultations with prospective clients under the guidance of the Hello Social Co. team
  • Assist in preparing proposals, decks, and lead follow-up communications
  • Maintain Hello Social Co.’s CRM system and tracking tools to monitor pipeline activity
  • Generate weekly reports on leads, conversions, and progress toward business goals
  • Conduct service profitability audits and assist in identifying growth opportunities
  • Document internal workflows related to sales, onboarding, and client handoffs
  • Support ongoing efforts to improve overall efficiency and revenue operations 

Candidate Qualities

  • Self-starter with strong organization and follow-through
  • Analytical mindset with interest in business operations and performance tracking
  • Comfortable speaking with prospective clients via phone or video call in a confident, professional, and helpful manner
  • Strong communication and writing skills
  • Detail-oriented and proactive problem solver
  • Background or major in Business, Marketing, Entrepreneurship, or related field preferred
  • Familiarity with spreadsheets, CRMs, or project tools like Airtable are a plus 

Compensation

This internship requires a commitment of 10–15 hours per week and is structured as a commission-based role with an additional stipend. Academic credit may be arranged in partnership with your college or university.

Hello Social Co. is a remote-first company with optional in-person opportunities in Bellefonte or State College, Pennsylvania. Interns will receive mentorship directly from the agency’s founder and have opportunities to contribute meaningfully to the agency’s growth and client success.
