Do you love to explore the world around you? Do you find yourself taking photos or videos of trips to craft breweries, hikes, shopping excursions, local events and more? 

Hello Social Co., a rapidly growing social media marketing agency based in Happy Valley, Pennsylvania, is looking for a skilled content creator that can help to carry out our agency’s mission to #FocusonLocal while producing exceptional creative materials for our clients.

 

Role Responsibilities

  • First and foremost, this person will be responsible for being out and being a visible presence of the Hello Social Co. team, documenting experiences and providing creative materials for use by the agency’s social media marketers. 
  • Work with client account managers to determine creative content needs on an ongoing basis; and deliver well-crafted content in a timely manner. 
  • Stay informed about the latest social media industry trends and understand how content creation fits into them. 
  • Pitch content ideas based on audience engagement and client success.

 

Candidate Qualities

  • Photography and videography experience, whether professionally or as a hobby. Most importantly, a keen eye for creative materials that perform well on social.
  • Experience creating different types of content for social media (i.e., Stories, Reels, not just posts for the newsfeed). 
  • Graphic design experience preferred, but not a must. 
  • Self-managed with excellent follow-through and initiative to get things done
  • “Can-do” attitude and grit to work through obstacles 
  • Creative problem solving and clear, responsive communication style
  • Track record of strong communication
  • Investment in personal professional development
  • Eager to develop positive relationships internally and externally to achieve necessary goals
  • Strong attention to detail and highly flexible to changing priorities’

 

Things You Should Know

Candidates must live in the Happy Valley region of Pennsylvania. Access to your own transportation is a must. Because of the nature of this role, we can not accept applicants that do not have their own vehicle. 

Out-of-area travel may be required occasionally. 

Your own photo and video equipment, including editing software, is required. 

Compensation is determined based on experience level. This role will start with part time hours allocated. This role has the ability to expand to a full-time position as the agency’s client base continues to grow.
