Three simple things you can do to improve your Facebook Page today

Sharing is Caring!

Your Facebook Page should work for you, 24/7. It should drive traffic to your website, get you new phone calls or provide information to potential customers.

When you’re setting up your Facebook page, Facebook will guide you through a series of prompts to fill out your page. But, there’s more.

You’ll want to check out your Page settings to make sure that as much information as possible is filled out on your profile.

And, you’ll want to make sure you’re using Facebook’s features to work for your business as well. Video is one of the most effective elements on your Page.

Here are the most important features to consider when setting up or re-branding your Facebook Page:

1. Contact Info

Why make it hard for your customers to contact you? Make sure the entire Contact Info Section is filled out on your Page.

You’ll see in the photo above the Page Username – this allows users to contact you via Facebook Messenger (a great way to produce sales leads!)

2. Promotional Video

Just one single promotional video on your Page can work wonders for your engagement. It’s one of the first things that users see when they visit your page, and gives them the opportunity to get a glimpse of your business.

Here’s a video promoting Recreation News’ hashtag campaign, #LivePlayDo:

3. Add Page Tabs

Tabs and Apps on the sidebar of your Facebook Page allow you to cross-promote your other campaigns, social media accounts and more.

In the case of Recreation News, we used a Tab to connect the hashtag campaign to the Facebook Page, providing a constant stream of content:

These three Page additions will help you get your page working for you all the time – even while you sleep.
