A look at our favorite social media marketing tools

Sharing is Caring!

Social media marketing is constantly evolving, and luckily, so are the tools social media marketers use to create great content.

On any given day, the Hello Social Co. team uses between five and eight tools to help us with our social media marketing, for our own brand as well as for our clients.

Here are a few of our favorites:

1. Photoshop

If you stop by SpringBoard in Bellefonte, you’re likely to see us working in Photoshop. While a lot of designers and marketers prefer InDesign, we typically use Photoshop to create social media graphics as well as web graphics.

2. Canva

We create a number of graphics in Canva as well, primarily for its beta Animated GIF/Movie function.

This new feature, still in the experimental stage, allows you to quickly create GIFS for social media. Here’s an example of one we just created.

Canva was recently named a top tool by Marketing Land, too.

3. Hootsuite

We’ve written about Hootsuite before, and that’s because it’s an amazing tool for social media marketers that are managing many accounts. Hootsuite gives us the capability to manage tons of accounts at once with features for scheduling, monitoring, responding and reporting.

Plus, it has some cool tools for creating contests and hosting other social media-centric events as well.

4. Buffer

We work with a variety of print publications to handle social media marketing. Buffer is an essential tool for publication management, because it allows us to craft posts for multiple social networks at one time.
