Discover Bedford County invites content creators to propose seasonal partnerships that help travelers imagine a visit and provide original photography and video for the destination’s ongoing marketing. Creators of all audience sizes are welcome, with selection based on storytelling, content quality, engagement rate, and audience relevance.
Licensed assets are a central part of the 2027 program. Each partnership will pair content shared with the creator’s audience with a collection of photos and video that Discover Bedford County can use in organic and paid marketing, on its website and in its annual visitors guide. Creators will be credited for their work.
Hello Social Co. is Discover Bedford County’s creator partnership partner and will manage creator communication, vetting and placement on the destination’s behalf. Hello Social Co. will coordinate scopes, licensing requirements, content delivery and paid amplification with selected creators and the Discover Bedford County team. Discover Bedford County will directly handle lodging, itineraries, and other relevant travel logistics.
Introduce Bedford County to relevant audiences in regional drive markets.
Build a versatile collection of licensed photos and video for social media, advertising, website storytelling and the annual visitors guide.
Show the region’s landscapes, communities and experiences through thoughtful seasonal stories.
Extend the reach of creator partnerships through paid amplification.
Visits will take place during 2027, with dates and itineraries coordinated around seasonal opportunities, creator availability and campaign needs. Proposals should identify one or two primary content pillars and explain the stories or experiences the creator would explore:
Outdoors and scenic drives
Wellness and slow stays
Heritage and small-town stories
Makers, markets and culinary
Itineraries and the unexpected
Discover Bedford County will provide accommodations and arrange select meals and hosted experiences as agreed for each visit. Creators should identify travel companions, room needs, accessibility needs and any travel expenses in their proposals. Hosting details will be confirmed before booking.
Each selected creator should propose a package that includes at a minimum:
2 Instagram Reels.
1 Instagram carousel post.
Instagram Stories shared during and/or immediately following the visit.
10 or more individually delivered licensed assets, including high-resolution still photography and short-form video clips.
Optional blog submission: Experienced writers are welcome to propose original content for DiscoverBedfordCounty.com.
The asset collection should include people experiencing the destination, scenic and environmental images, details of local businesses and experiences, and evergreen video footage that can support future campaigns. Social posts and licensed files are separate deliverables; posting content does not replace delivery of the agreed asset collection.
Creators should provide original, full-resolution photo files suitable for print at the intended reproduction size, plus high-quality video files. Include a mix of horizontal and vertical compositions where appropriate. Reusable files should be free of watermarks, embedded captions and platform overlays; provide clean video versions without music unless the music is cleared for all agreed uses, including advertising. Include location details, preferred credit and any relevant usage restrictions with the delivery. File specifications, delivery deadlines and the review process will be confirmed in the final agreement.
Creators must be able to grant Discover Bedford County a nonexclusive license to the agreed assets for:
Organic use on Discover Bedford County’s owned social media channels.
Paid advertising using the delivered assets, including ads published through Discover Bedford County’s accounts.
Use on the Discover Bedford County website, including destination pages, itineraries and editorial content.
Use in the annual visitors guide, including printed and digital editions.
The license must permit reasonable cropping, resizing, formatting and addition of copy for these placements while preserving the integrity of the creator’s work. Creators retain ownership of their work. Hello Social Co. and designated production partners may access and adapt the assets solely to carry out these uses on Discover Bedford County’s behalf.
Proposals must state the offered licensing period for each use, geographic scope, any restrictions and renewal fees. Website and visitors guide rights should account for publication schedules and continued availability of existing editions. Licensing periods, treatment of existing published materials after expiration and all other usage terms will be confirmed in writing before the partnership begins.
Discover Bedford County will credit creators for their work. The agreement will establish the preferred credit and its placement across social media, advertising, website and visitors guide uses, including formats with limited space for attribution.
Creators must identify and secure any third-party permissions needed for the agreed uses, including music and permissions for recognizable people where applicable. Any restrictions must be disclosed before selection; all delivered assets must be cleared for the uses agreed in the contract.
Creators will be expected to use Meta’s paid partnership label on applicable sponsored content, identifying Discover Bedford County as the brand partner. They must also grant the permissions required for Discover Bedford County to amplify agreed content as Meta partnership ads featuring the creator’s handle on Instagram and/or Facebook. Hello Social Co. will coordinate the setup with selected creators.
Paid partnership labeling and partnership ad permissions are separate requirements. Creators must have accounts eligible for the agreed features and complete the necessary permission process, such as providing a partnership ad code or approving the applicable permission request. Content intended for amplification must be suitable for advertising, including its audio.
Proposals must specify the duration and fee for partnership ad authorization separately from licensing the delivered assets. Selected creators must maintain the agreed permissions for the contracted advertising period and coordinate any account or permission changes with Hello Social Co. Advertising spend will be handled by Discover Bedford County and is separate from creator compensation.
This program supports original work created by people and grounded in firsthand experiences of Bedford County. Creators who use artificial intelligence (AI) to generate or alter photography, video, written content or other creative work will not be accepted into the program. All proposed and delivered content, including social posts, licensed assets and optional blog submissions, must be the creator’s own work and free of AI-generated content.
Submit a proposed fee covering production, publishing, delivery of the asset collection, the requested licensing, and partnership ad authorization. Please itemize:
Creative production and social posting.
Licensed asset delivery and usage rights, with the offered term for each use.
Meta partnership ad authorization and its duration.
Travel expenses or other costs outside the agreed hosting.
Optional additional assets or deliverables and renewal pricing.
All fees, deliverables and rights will be agreed before a visit is confirmed.
Proposals will be evaluated on alignment with Bedford County’s stories, the quality of photography and video, suitability of assets for digital and print use, audience relevance and engagement, seasonal ideas, licensing scope and overall value, and professional reliability. Follower count alone will not determine selection.
Complete the application form accompanying this RFP by Dec. 15, 2026. Include a portfolio, relevant audience insights, proposed seasonal concept, visit availability, and an itemized budget. Hello Social Co. will handle follow-up questions and selection communication on behalf of Discover Bedford County.
