Facebook (finally!) rolls out polls feature for Pages

Sharing is Caring!

It’s a feature we’ve been hoping to see now for a few years … Facebook has finally rolled out polls for Pages.

MarketingLand reported that last week, the social network rolled out the tool so that people and Pages can quiz their followers across the site and mobile apps.

Facebook has been on something of a polling craze in the past month (and two years after Twitteradded its own polling feature). In early October, it added a polling feature to Instagram Stories. Then a couple of weeks later, the company announced that it had acquired teen-centric polling app tbh.

Instagram rolled out a similar feature within Stories last month, allowing you (or your brand) to ask a question and see results from friends and followers.

Of course, this feature will allow Facebook to collect more data about its users. But, that’s a small price to pay, as a brand, to learn more about your Facebook followers and potential customers.

The polling feature allows you to attach images or gifs to your responses, adding a bit of creativity to basic polling practices. Keep in mind, though, that Facebook’s polling feature only allows two responses to choose between.

We’re going to take the polling feature for a spin on our own Facebook Page today. Care to weigh in?
